Normalization of Rawa Badung Dam Has Reached 20 Percent

The revitalization project of Rawa Badung Dam's east side, Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung Sub-District, keeps being accelerated. Until this time, its process has reached 20 percent.

The dam which was previously full of buildings, will be dredged to be refunctioned. Predictably, 36,000 cubic out of 2.5 hectares land area will be dredged with 2 m depth. 

Head of Water Resource Maintenance Section for East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Mukhid stated the project has finalized most of land. To keep it being occupied and as a project safety, the area has been fenced.

"Now, it's already shaped. Around the project has been fenced," he told, Wednesday (9/23). 

He uttered, to reach the revitalization target, the project is conducted at night and day. Every day, there are at least 3 heavy equipments sent to the field. 

"It is targeted to be complete in the upcoming December. We hope the dam could minimize puddles on Jalan KRT Radjiman and its surrounding areas in future," he closed.
